epoch times, review of the makor: metropoly exhibition, new york
As part of a series on intimacy, the photographs of Oz Lubling depict simple and direct images of everyday life.
His photographs of people sitting or standing alone in an urban setting were beautifully composed with a nice balance of color.
Although posed, the subject seemed to be a natural part of the setting. His website (ozlubling.com) describes the series as "narrative moments
[that] are made to yield complexities through the emphasis of gesture and location, encouraging the viewer to complete the story." He delves
into the "paradoxical nature of relationships in contemporary society."
